From Dropping Verbal Scores to an Impressive Boost – Thanks to MADS
After self-studying for the SAT and seeing my verbal score drop, I was lucky to meet Ms. Ánh @mads.nguyenthingocanh, who guided me with incredibly effective thinking strategies. After the August test, my verbal score improved significantly!
I highly recommend @msanhdaysat1600 because Ms. Ánh and Ms. Tuyết are super dedicated, adorable, and have extremely effective and easy-to-understand test-taking strategies.
Wishing everyone success in achieving their desired SAT scores for high scholarships and college admissions! 💖💖

Studying SAT with MADS – Intensive, Challenging, but Totally Worth It!
If anyone is still unsure about where to put their trust in SAT prep and happens to read this, don’t hesitate to study with Ms. Anh.
Dedicated, talented teachers who truly care about their students:
As you can see (from the picture I included), the DSAT is divided into four criteria per section. Ms. Anh’s SAT course logically breaks down each question type, teaching us the thought process, common mistakes, and traps (which are super important). The detailed, convincing teaching style, along with thorough explanations of every practice question—even down to punctuation (plus her great voice)—completely surprised me about MADS.
Classes went until 2 AM before the exam. A meeting session opened at 6 AM on exam day. Thought it was a myth, but it was real, guys! As someone who studied inconsistently and wanted a crash course, I got all the necessary knowledge packed into my brain within a week—one module per day.
She chats with students, sends adorable texts, and even though her scolding can be scary, it’s oddly funny and entertaining. Maybe I like a little tough love? And she always pops up in the Messenger group at just the right time to keep us on our toes.
Valuable knowledge:
Learning vocabulary with the teachers made me so happy! After memorizing the words, we got instant practice exercises, which made them stick in my brain for way too long.
Each week, Math and Verbal had separate assignments (a bit too much, I cried a little) and were even harder than the actual test. I studied SC with Ms. Anh for two months without touching Bluebook or any other external resources, which made me feel like a boat lost in a storm, completely clueless about what a normal test even looked like. Luckily, a few days before the exam, she gave us easier tests, which calmed me down before the real deal. I must say, both teachers really understand student psychology.
A fun, supportive learning environment:
Everyone in the Messenger group was super engaged, always actively discussing and debating when someone posted a question. Even now, I still don’t understand how they managed to analyze and argue so professionally… almost as if Ms. Ánh secretly planted TAs in the group. But after some stalking, I realized it was all real students—mind-blowing!
Whenever I like a class, it’s always because I like the teacher first. And I have no words to describe how amazing both of them are.
The support team was also hilarious and caring—I swear, texting them felt like chatting with a best friend from 10 lifetimes ago (still salty about the time Kelvin tricked me into thinking there was a prize).
And there's still Hoc Sat Em be—I still don’t know who they are, but their video edits are so good that I lowkey want to learn too.
I’m getting lazy now, sorry Ms. Anh and everyone. I was planning to write a storytime about my struggles, but never mind. My score didn’t hit my original aim (not flexing because I’m not confident enough), so I censored part of it.
Go study, everyone.

Studying SAT with MADS – The Never-Ending Deadlines
Both teachers have a youthful and friendly way of speaking, making it incredibly easy and comfortable to ask questions and engage in discussions.
As a 12th-grade student, my SAT journey started quite late—only after the March test. Feeling lost and unsure how to manage my study time effectively, I was introduced to MADS by my classmates and glowing reviews on social media. After spending time studying here, I finally understood why MADS has such a strong reputation.
1. Friendliness
Everyone I encountered during my SAT journey with MADS was incredibly friendly and supportive. The first person I interacted with was Anh Kelvin, who was always enthusiastic and helped resolve every technical issue I faced throughout the course (from account login to test-taking). Then, there were the two amazing teachers—Ms. Anh and Ms. Tuyet. Both have a youthful and approachable teaching style, making discussions and Q&A sessions effortless. Lastly, my fellow students were also incredibly supportive, always willing to help each other and contributing to a positive, dynamic learning environment.
2. High Teaching Expertise
Ms. Anh and Ms. Tuyet are not only dedicated teachers but also highly experienced in SAT preparation. Ms. Anh provided effective strategies tailored to different question types, along with additional insights such as alternative ways questions might be asked to deepen our understanding. Ms. Tuyet’s explanations were crystal clear—she broke down math problems using fundamental concepts and ensured every student grasped the material. She also shared highly useful “shortcuts” to help us save time during the test.
3. (Insanely) Many Assignments
One of the most common "rumors" I heard about MADS—and later confirmed—is the mountain of assignments. However, this turned out to be a great thing because every task was carefully selected by Ms. Anh and Ms. Tuyet to closely match the actual SAT exam format. Deadlines may have been relentless, but completing all the assignments built a rock-solid foundation for test day.
Lastly, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to MADS, especially Ms. Anh and Ms. Tuyet, for helping me achieve my desired SAT score. Love this center so much! ❤️
A strong bridge paves the way to success / A great teacher paves the way to SAT excellence
“...I must say that these two teachers are the ultimate SAT conquerors, the supreme commanders of the College Board, the rulers of study-abroad scholarships, the masterminds behind university admission methods, and the undisputed queens of those glorious 1500+ scores...”
Long ago, our ancestors wisely said: “If you want to cross, build a bridge / If you want your child to ace the SAT, honor the teacher.” Meanwhile, a distant proverb agrees: “A whole truckload of Question Banks is worth less than a great teacher.” This serves as a reminder that while self-study is essential, finding a mentor with both heart and vision can help unlock the full potential of your brilliant mind.
As for this young lady here, I took the SAT once in March, aiming for a 1500+, but to my dismay, I ended up with a mere 1440. However, deeply inspired by my nation’s long-standing philosophy of “planting bamboo and patiently waiting for it to become a weapon,” I resolved to seek revenge—this time, stronger and sharper than ever, with an unshakable foundation: Ms. Anh Day SAT 1600’s class.
Needless to say, it wasn’t until I started learning from Ms. Anh and Ms. Tuyet that I realized what I had been missing and why, no matter how hard I tried, I only managed a 1440. Their effective question-solving strategies, their dedicated tracking of each student’s progress, their ultra-realistic practice tests, and their teaching style—sometimes as heartfelt and poetic as Xuan Quynh’s verses, sometimes as commanding and powerful as the thundering footsteps of the Viet Bac army—left no doubt in my mind: these two teachers are the ultimate SAT conquerors, the supreme commanders of the College Board, the rulers of study-abroad scholarships, the masterminds behind university admission methods, and the undisputed queens of those glorious 1500+ scores...
At the end of the day, words are free, but trust is expensive. In this world, don’t trust a best friend who says “I’ll pay you back tomorrow,” don’t trust a random guy who whispers “I’ll love you forever,” but DO trust me when I say: sign up for Ms. Anh’s SAT class immediately.
As the saying goes, “A student could walk the earth for a lifetime / Yet still not finish listing all the wisdom of their teachers.” But I also know that too many words are a crime of the writer, so if any wandering souls are intrigued, feel free to DM me—I can go on about this until dawn. Much gratitude.

From Lost to Breakthrough – My SAT Journey with MADS
I first learned about the SAT at the beginning of my senior year, and I mostly studied on my own—without discipline and completely lost. Later, I decided to enroll in a course to have a clearer roadmap, a mentor, and classmates who could push me to improve faster. My choice was MADS because it had everything I needed.
1. The Two Amazing Teachers and Their Enormous Resource Bank
Ms. Anh, also known as "Taylor Swift" because everyone says her teaching is as captivating as Taylor’s music—confirmed, 100% true! SAT Reading isn’t just about simple comprehension; it requires understanding how information connects to form logical conclusions. Thanks to Ms. Anh’s enthusiastic explanations and in-depth analysis, I gained so much clarity after this course. Practicing tests and attending lessons helped me develop much stronger logical reasoning skills.
Ms. Tuyet was our Math guide. Her practice tests were top-tier! If you put in the effort, I genuinely believe an 800 in Math is totally within reach (unlike me, who wasn’t that diligent). I say this because her practice and private tests include advanced problems she crafted based on real SAT exams and trends—earning her the title "Prophet Nguyen Tuyet." My biggest fear in her class? Hearing her say, "Guys, this question is super interesting!" because that meant it was a brutal trick question, worse than any trap.
Speaking of tests, I have to mention their extensive collection of practice materials. The SAT only recently switched to digital in the US (where it originated), so quality resources aligned with the new format are still scarce. That’s why MADS’ exclusive web-based testing platform was an absolute lifesaver. There were endless practice tests, all structured precisely like the real exam, so I never felt lost while studying.
2. Incredible Study Buddies
We've all heard the saying, "You learn more from your peers than from your teachers." And it couldn’t be more true! MADS took this wisdom to heart by setting up discussion groups where students could exchange ideas, ask questions, and study together. Even better, both teachers were active in these groups, meaning we could discuss problems with them day and night—so awesome!
This was especially crucial when doing practice tests. Sometimes I thought I understood a concept, but in reality, I was way off. Having study buddies to discuss and correct my mistakes made a huge difference. Huge thanks to everyone!
And why do I call them "superhumans"? Because not only were they incredibly smart, but also insanely hardworking. There were times I woke up at nearly 4 AM and still saw people discussing questions—I couldn’t even sleep after that!
3. Unbelievable Benefits
What I want to highlight here is the extra class—where you can keep learning for free until you reach your target score! Huhuhu, how can MADS be this good to us? Trust me, these extra classes are gold. Every session helped me understand things on a deeper level, and the content was always super relevant to the real SAT. As the test date approached, the two teachers kept us grinding until midnight—our "little children" (us students) were crying for mercy.
I noticed students in later courses sometimes got called out for not completing their extra class assignments. If you’re reading this, do them! Missing out would be such a waste.
Honestly, I can’t even put into words how amazing my experience with MADS was. Thank you to everyone who read this far. I hope you all achieve your dream scores! Wishing MADS even more success and sky-high student scores!
If you’re lost and don’t know where to go, have you made your choice yet? Full speed ahead to MADS!!!

Boosted My SAT Score by 100+ Points with MADS After a Drop from Self-Study
"Ms. Anh helped me develop a better approach to reasoning and synthesizing information, while Ms. Tuyet patiently went through every math problem to ensure all student questions were answered."
First and foremost, I want to express my deepest gratitude to Ms. Anh, Ms. Tuyet, and Mr. Kev. Thank you to both teachers for tirelessly creating practice tests, guiding us with dedication, and pushing us to achieve our goals! And thanks to Mr. Kev for helping me resolve technical issues and navigate my first days in the class.
My starting point was an 8.5 in IELTS Reading and a 1460 SAT score from my self-study in October. By early 2024, my family and I were ready to use my SAT score for top university applications in Vietnam. However, due to a lack of clear direction, my score dropped to 1420 in March, which was a huge disappointment to both myself and my loved ones.
To turn things around, I decided to seek proper guidance, and that’s when I discovered MADS through a March review. My experience after enrolling exceeded all expectations. Ms. Anh provided me with the right perspective to analyze and extract key information from passages, while Ms. Tuyet carefully walked us through every math problem, ensuring we understood every detail. I was especially impressed to learn that they didn’t just source test materials—they actually wrote and developed their own!
The dedication didn’t stop with the teachers; my classmates were incredibly supportive, always willing to answer my endless questions =))). This created an environment that motivated me to keep improving. The teachers, while kind and approachable, were also strict when it came to deadlines and class expectations. Thanks to this structured learning approach, my correct answers in the Reading section increased from 14-15 to 23-24/27.
To sum up, MADS taught me far more than I ever expected—truly beyond my standards! This review is already getting long, so I’ll just say: I highly recommend MADS to anyone preparing for the SAT!!!
